The second annual Praxis Care / Abbey Real Estate Golf Classic at the Hilton Templepatrick raised an amzing £6,332 for the work of the charity Praxis Care.

After brunch, and being presented with a goodie bag including tray bakes made by Praxis Care Conlig Work Skills, play began with a shotgun start and 17 teams hit the fairways of The Hilton Course.

A special Praxis Care service user competition was run by Eamonn Logue (Dir.of Golf) with 14 service users from Praxis Care schemes from throughout Ireland including Conlig, Derry, Ardee, Kesh, Navan and Hillsborough.

After 18 Holes players enjoyed a superb meal followed by some entertaining golf stories from Eamonn Logue.[Dir. Of Golf at the Hilton] The evening finished with an auction and the prize giving.

The most improved golfer awards went to Tara Holton (Kesh) and David Lally (Ardee).
