Tuam, Skerries, Cahir Park and City of Derry all fought a hard battle at Athlone in the Miele Fourball Regional Finals to reach the All Ireland Semi-Finals at Naas on October 4. The final will take place at Naas on Sunday 5 October.
In Region One, Skerries took an early lead by winning the first two matches against Castlewarden and the last two called in as they won 3-1.
In Region Two, City of Derry’s Karena Brady and Gail McNeice won 6 and 4 with the other four matches going until the 16th, 18th and 19th respectively in a 3-1 win over Malone.
Cahir Park took on Castletroy in Region Three and it was Cahir Park who proved to be stronger side, winning their first two matches in a 2.5-1.5 victory.

Region Four saw Tuam take on Slieve Russell but wins in matches one, two and four were enough for the Galway club to earn their ticket to the All Ireland semi-finals at Nass.
